Prayers are requested for
Msgr. Paul Lenz,
an affiliate of the Province since 1998.� Msgr. Lenz had back
surgery on September 22 to correct a disk that was pressing on a
nerve.� He returned home around October 6 and, by all reports, is
recovering well.���

Please remember
William Santre
in your prayers.� William has been �back home� at Mount Carmel since
August and he continues to recover from knee surgeries.

Bernard Dougherty
is living at Altoona Center
for Nursing while he undergoes additional therapy following surgery
on his back.� Please keep him in your prayers.� Cards and phone
calls can be directed to the address and phone number printed in the
new Province Directory.

The newly elected leadership of the
Vice Province of Our Lady of the Apparition, Brasil, would welcome

Seven jubilarians renewed their vows
of 60 and 50 years ago during the Province retreat at Priestfield
Pastoral Center on August� 10, 2006.� Their years of combined
service add up to 380 years of dedication to our way of life!�� The
text of Adrian�s Jubilee homily is included as an insert in this
newsletter.

Incarnations has been launched!�
Incarnations (formerly named �Friarworks�) is a consortium of friars for
the arts who are seeking various ways to use the creative talents of the
friars of our Province in service of the Gospel.�� Five cards
inaugurated the launch of Incarnations:
Christmas Card
The card is 5� x
7�, printed on heavy card stock with a plain white envelope.� The cover
depicts a Christmas cr�che designed by for Saint Bridget�s Church in
Minneapolis, Minnesota, titled, �Bethlehem,
House of� Bread.��
The inside text reads:� �At Christmas and throughout the coming year,
may the Word of God that is Jesus Christ become flesh and dwell in you.�
Blessed Christmas!�� The back of the card recounts the story of Greccio.�
Cards are being sold for $1.00 each;� 12 for $10.50;� 25 for $18.50.�

Card Series
This series of note
cards includes four pen and ink drawings by
Cyprian Mercieca.�
The beautifully detailed images depict barns from the West Virginia
area.� The cards measure 5� x 7�� and are printed on natural white, 80#
pastille paper with a matching envelope.� The inside is blank.� The back
includes a quote from our Rule and a text from scripture.�� Individual
cards are available for $1.50 each.� A pack of four (one of each design)
is available for $5.50; 8 cards for $10.00; 12 cards for $14.00.� �

Other projects are
in the works and include: pottery, poetry, candles, and two books.�
Profits from the sale of items help, in part, to support the TOR
Outreach Fund which ministers to the needs of the poor.
