Feast of the Birth of Mary

The ballots for Minister Provincial were counted today on the Feast of the Birth of Mary in the presence of two tellers and one witness.  The norms of the General and Provincial Constitutions and Statutes were observed.  Most Reverend Ilija Zivkovic, T.O.R. approved the nomination. 

In the name of Most Reverend Father Ilija Zivkovic, T.O.R., Minister General, and with thanksgiving to almighty God, I am happy to announce that Fr. Anthony M. Criscitelli, T.O.R. has been elected as Minister Provincial for the Province of the Immaculate Conception, USA.  He was elected on the first ballot by an absolute majority of votes.  Fr. Anthony accepted the position.  Fr. Ilija confirmed the election. 

The Minister General and the General Council wish to express their gratitude for Fr. Anthony�s willingness to serve the fraternity and his humble acceptance of the responsibility of a second term.  May he be encouraged in his ministry through the prayerful support of the faithful sons of the Province of the Immaculate Conception.

May God bless the Province with an abundance of grace and peace in these days of preparation for the Chapter.  May Fr. Anthony experience the consolation of God�s presence and the deep joy that comes from his heartfelt response to be of service to us and to the Church.
