Poetry - One Palm

copyright All Rights Reserved Wilson, Richard S.

Lady of the winds
Heron of the plains,
when you stir
your waist sings.

Gesture of prayer
or prelude of flight,
into your cup
the heavens pour
one by one.

From the dark country of men
I have come, kneeling,
to contemplate you.
Tall, bare, unique.
Poetry.
