St. Francis of Assisi
Lover of God's Creation |
 Lauds _____________
The robin is a mendicant,
A friar of the trees.
Who begs a breath of fragrant air
From cherry-scented breeze.
The robin is a troubadour,

The beauty of the budding rose
And of creations King.
