Gentle Servant of God
Most holy St. Anthony, friend of Jesus, I place myself in your
heavenly care. Be with me, especially in life’s troubles and difficulties. Intercede
before the Lord for me, so that I may confidently know I do not face my problems alone. |
I join my prayers to yours, O great
Saint, as I ask God to give me consolation in times of sorrow, courage when I am afraid,
and healing from all the ills that afflict me.
Obtain for me from God, Most High, the grace to accept whatever is God’s holy will
for me and my loved ones. Strengthen my faith so that I will never despair, but always
have hope in God’s healing presence and power in my life.

FOR HEALING
Compassionate St. Anthony, you are called the
"Miracle Worker" by those who have been blessed by your special friendship. I
ask you to look with favor on (name person) who is weak and failing.
Great St. Anthony, come to the assistance of (name). Obtain for her/him
health in mind and body, and the strength to accept all suffering in union with Christ,
our Savior.
Loving St. Anthony, console all those who are afflicted, and guide them to the heart of

Dear Jesus, You who have seen the suffering of All humankind, and who suffered the

wisdom to use the resources within their power to heal me, and comfort my family in their
empathy for me.
Restore me to health, dear Lord, so that I may honor You in all I say and do. I ask this
in Your name, my Lord and savior, and Your humble servant, St. Anthony of Padua, The

Gracious God, You have provided in our world many
healing remedies that are for our benefit when we are sick. You have given great knowledge
to doctors and scientists to discover medicines that can cure illness, and help our bodies
to heal.
God of life, hear my fervent prayer. Through the miraculous
intercession of St. Anthony, I ask your blessing upon the medication prescribed for
(mention name) so that he/she may experience healing, and be restored to the fullness of
health, in both mind and body.
I call upon Your holy and divine power to remove this sickness, with
the assistance of medicine, so that his/her recovery may be a cause for our joy, and a

Good St. Anthony, In God’s infinite goodness
you have enriched the lives of those who rely on you with many spiritual graces and
material favors as well.
I turn to you in great confidence to ask you to be my special advocate
before the throne of God. Kindly protect me from the snares of spiritual enemies, comfort
me in affliction, and provide me with life’s necessities.
Especially do I implore your protection in the final trials of my life.
Comforted by your aid, may I persevere in the grace of God until my last breath. Then, in
the company of the blessed, may you be my patron also in perpetual praise and thanksgiving
in the glory of Paradise.

Morning Offering
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you all my
prayers, work, joys, and suffering of this day, for all the intentions of your Sacred
Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, in reparation for
my sins for the intentions of all my relatives and friends and in particular for the
intentions of the Holy Father.
Act of Faith
O my God, I firmly believe that you are one God in three divine
Persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I believe that your divine Son became man, and died
for our sins and that He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe these and
all the truths which the Holy Catholic church teaches because you have revealed them, who
can neither deceive nor be deceived.
Act of Hope
O my God, relying on you infinite goodness and
promises, I hope to obtain pardon for my sins, with the help of your grace and life everlasting, through the
merits of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Redeemer.
Act of Love
O my God, I love you above all things with my whole heart and
soul, because you are all good and worthy of all my love. I love my neighbors as myself
for the love of you. I forgive all who have injured me, and ask pardon for all whom I have
injured.

Evening Prayer
O my God, I present myself before you at the end of
another day, to offer you anew the homage of my heart.
I humbly adore you, my Creator, my Redeemer, and my judge! I believe in you, because
you are Truth itself; I hope in you, because you are faithful to your promises; I love you
with my whole heart, because you are infinitely worthy of being loved; and for your sake I
love my neighbor as myself.
Enable me, O my God, to return you thanks as I ought for all your inestimable blessings
and favors. You have formed me out of nothing; You have delivered up your beloved Son to
the ignominious death of the Cross for my redemption;You have made me a member of your
Holy Church;You have preserved me from falling into the abyss of eternal misery, when my
sins had provoked you to punish me; and you have graciously continued to spare me, even
though I have not ceased to offend you. What return, O my God, can I make for your
innumerable blessings, and particularly for the favors of this day?
O all ye saints and angels, unite with me in
praising the God of mercy, who is so bountiful to so unworthy a creature. Bless, O Lord,
the repose I am about to take, that my bodily strength being renewed, I may be the better
enabled to serve you.

Prayer to Keep the Presence of God
Lord, God Almighty, you have brought us safely to
the beginning of this day. Defend us today by your mighty power, that we may not fall into
any sin, but that all our words may so proceed and all our thoughts and actions be so
directed, as to be always just in your sight. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
O my God, Sovereign judge of all, who desires not the death of a sinner, but that he
should be converted and saved, enlighten my mind, that I may know the sins which I have
this day committed in thought, word or deed, and give me the grace of true contrition.
After an examination of one’s conscience,
one says:
O my God, I heartily repent, and I am grieved that
I have offended you, because you are infinitely good, and sin is infinitely displeasing to
you. I humbly ask of you mercy and pardon, through the infinite merits of Jesus Christ. I
resolve, by the assistance of your grace, to do penance for my sins, and I will endeavor
never more to offend you.
O God, hear my prayers on behalf of our Holy Father, Pope John Paul II, our Bishop, our
clergy, and for all that are in authority over us. Bless, I beseech you, the whole
Catholic Church, and convert all unbelievers. Pour down your blessings, O Lord, upon all
my friends, relations, and acquaintances, and upon my enemies, if I have any. Help the
poor and sick and those who are in their last agony. O God of mercy and goodness, have
compassion on the souls of the faithful in purgatory; put an end to their sufferings, and
grant them eternal peace.
