Minnesota
Two
Sri Lankan friars, Fr. Gregory and Fr. Jude, will be arriving in the
United States on January 18th. They will be living with the
Formation Community at St. Bridget Friary and attending classes at
the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, MN. This is a response to
one of the Chapter Resolutions to support the developing Provinces
and develop a greater awareness of and commitment to the foreign
missions.
West
Virginia
On
December 16th, the Parish of St. Vincent de Paul, Berkley Springs,
dedicated their new worship space. Bishop Michael Bransfield
presided at the liturgy. Fr. Cyprian, T.O.R. and the people of the
parish worked long and hard to enlarge their parish church.
Pennsylvania
On
Thanksgiving Day, sixteen friars gathered at St. Bernardine�s for a
wonderful day of great food, melodious song, prayer, and
fraternity. Fr. Christopher, T.O.R. created a feast second to
none. Fr. Adrian, T.O.R. led all the friars in a magnificent
rendition of the �Turkey Song� complete with accompanying gobbles
from the friar chorus.
