Barn Cards
�The Barns of West Virginia� Card Series
This series of note cards includes four pen and ink drawings by Fr.
Cyprian Mercieca, T.O.R.. The beautifully detailed images depict barns from
the West Virginia area. The cards measure 5� x 7� and are printed on natural
white, 80# pastille paper with a matching envelope. The inside is blank. The
back includes a quote from the T.O.R. Franciscan Rule of Life and a text
from scripture.
THE ARTIST
Fr. Cyprian was born in New York. He made his first profession of vows
when
he was 20 years old and was ordained seven years later. With a missionary zeal
he responded to the call to serve numerous times in Paraguay as well as South
Africa. In the States, he has served as pastor in Minnesota and West Virginia,
reaching out, in particular, to the Spanish-speaking population. Currently, Fr.
Cyprian is pastor of Saint Vincent de Paul Parish in Berkeley Springs, West
Virginia.
